Lisboa Games Week
Academic Project · July 2019
The website is available here
Lisboa Games Week is a four-day event with a wide range of activities, not only
focused
on digital entertainment but also covering the field of education and video game competition. The event
brings every piece of news, cosplay, lectures, and workshops, as well as famous YouTubers, to one place,
for all who enjoy video games and other forms of digital entertainment.
The project combines a variety of solutions to the problems found on the official Lisboa
Games Week's website. The main issue was a lack of cohesive visual identity. To address this, a new
graphic universe was created, filled with different elements inspired by the video games world, bursting
with color, forms, symbols, and fun.
A total of 65 objects were created using an isometric grid to ensure regularity
throughout the project. The compositions and layouts were carefully thought out and created using Adobe
Illustrator.
The interface is responsive for all commercial sizes, addressing another problem with the
original Lisboa Games Week's website."
